The first half started of with 90% of the position by the Spartans with many opportunities but were unable to find the net in the first half. Duval got a quick counterattack goal with less than 10 minutes remaining in the half to take a 1-0 halftime lead. The Spartans came out in the second half on a mission with Thang Thang earning a PK in the first 5 minutes. Thang placed the PK in the far lower left corner to level the game at 1 all. With the Spartans dominating possession in the second half as well, Kwame Duncan gives the Spartans a 2-1 lead from a corner kick from Carlos Reyes-Madrano. Kwame would find the net midway through the second half with a cross from Thang and slots the ball with power to the bottom left corner of the net. Aboyede Olubo would finish off the scoring with a driven ball to the near post from a cross from Carlos. Kevin Calderon and Joel Velasquez would combine for 3 saves with very minimal work on the day. The Spartans will begin preparing for Henry Wise for another county matchup on Thursday September 13th to try and improve their record to 2-0
